Students entering in March 2026 take a free semester from March to September 2026 with no tuition and no hostel fee, then begin the charged first year in September 2026.

Being the free semester at nil, the 33,000 RMB first year and five further years at 20,900 RMB. This excludes flights, food and personal costs, and is among the lowest totals of any partner university.

Food, pocket money, water and electricity bills, bedding, books, transport and other miscellaneous charges are excluded and paid by you. Visa extension, medical checkup and health insurance from year two are charged at the actual rates set by the government rather than at a fixed package rate. Only one hostel type is available: a four-sharing room at 1,200 RMB a year. There is no two-sharing or single option, which is the trade-off behind the low fee.
2,000 RMB in the first year for students with 70% in Grade 12. From year two the top 10% of the clinical medicine cohort receive 2,000 RMB, awarded from year three onwards.

HSK-4 within one academic year, or eighteen months on the March intake, is a hard requirement. Failure means repeating or returning home.
Applicants under 18 need an affidavit. PM&DC and MDCAT requirements still apply regardless of what the university will accept.
